Дьєнб'єнфу: Остання надія

The game depicts a decisive battle which took place in a distant jungle valley in northern Vietnam. Both sides knew from the start that this battle would be the last. The French were desperately seeking a chance to engage the main Viet Minh forces on their own terms. Dien Bien Phu was set as a trap, where superior forces and weapons could crush the Viet Minh offensive. The Viet Minh felt they could not win the war unless they escalated the fighting into a full-scale battle. While the French were dominant in the delta, they had gathered nearly all their best units in this remote valley, knowing that without them, France would lose the will to continue. Dien Bien Phu became the site of a crushing defeat for France.

This was a battle of preparation, assault, and counterattack. The Viet Minh dug trenches as they advanced on the French, preparing to storm French strongholds. The stunned French defenders were forced to respond, throwing reserve battalions into the fray to protect their positions.

The game promises a fast-paced and intense experience: the Viet Minh player will try to dismantle the French defenses, while the French player will try to exhaust the Viet Minh and bring them to a halt.
