Monty's Gamble: Market Garden is a reprinting of MMP’s highly acclaimed area movement game on Operation Market Garden depicting the Allied invasion of The Netherlands in September 1944. As conceived by British Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery, the Allied First Airborne Army was to open a corridor between the Dutch towns of Eindhoven and Arnhem, allowing the British Second Army to cross the Rhine River, drive into Germany, and if all went well end the war by Christmas.

Monty's Gamble: Market Garden features a semi-simultaneous movement system which provides maximum interaction and requires players to make tough choices as every move they make may be countered by their opponent. Both players will have pressing needs up and down "Hell's Highway" but may only address one at a time—hopefully before the variable turn length causes the turn to end!

This all-new, updated version of Monty's Gamble: Market Garden also includes Fortress Holland: 1940. Originally published in Operations Special Issue #2, this expansion contains 100+ counters and rules needed to depict the German invasion of Holland in May 1940.
