The Battle for Normandy Deluxe Edition

The Battle for Normandy is a game for two players or teams and recreates the June 6th Normandy Invasion and the following three months as the Allies and Axis struggled over the battlefields of Normandy in 1944. With seven maps stretched from Cherbourg to Argentan and over 2,500 counters representing every significant combat unit in the campaign, players can once again fight the battles for Caen, Carentan, St. Lo, Cherbourg, Villers-Bocage and more.

The rules are relatively simple, but cover all of the important factors in the battle including Supply, Naval and Air Support, Mulberrys, Parachute Drops, Artillery and Command & Control. The Beach Assault phases in the beginning use a unique system that will never play the same way twice due to Allied assault planning and German defense organization.

This Deluxe Edition includes the two extra maps and two countersheets from the Expansion, new Interdiction Level cards, new scenarios, as well as some rule revisions based on new research and 12 years of playtesting.
